One of the most common reasons that installs do not work is because there is a conflict with your .htaccess file in the directory that we are trying to install to.
There is a rather easy fix to get around this that we cannot always do for you. Luckily, we will gladly show you how to fix the issue so the installer will succeed.
Step 1: Control Panel
Log into your hosting account control panel. Once in the control panel, you will see a link in the top navigation for "Additional Tools". Hover over that link and select the first link called ".htaccess Editor".
Step 2: .htaccess Editor
Now that you are inside the .htaccess Editor, you need to select the "Direct Editor" link. In most cases, the link is located at the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Select the directory
The first option on this page is to select the directory you want to edit. Scroll through the list and click on the directory/folder that you are trying to install too. Once you have clicked on it, click the Select button.
Step 4: Remove contents
Once you have selected the directory that you want to edit the .htaccess file, you will see a box below that displays the contents of the .htaccess file. This content might look scary but do not worry at all! All you need to do is delete all the content in there and click save.
Before - With Content
After - Without content
Now that you have removed all the contents of the .htaccess file, simply go back to MOJO and try your install again. We will automatically generate a new .htaccess file that fits the requirements your installation.
How do I install my MoJo purchase to my ipage? Can not find the answer. Any help will be appreciated.
Hi!
It´s not easy to solve problem here. My problem is that I can not find the file to upload the theme I bought yesterday from MOJOMarkedplace. I bought "Tiberius" them, men it´s hopeless to fix this whiteout properly support. I paid 118 USD for this theme and I can´t upload the file, because I haven´t got any file! I am not a web-expert. I have a domene I already use. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I am almost to give up now :-( Technical english language is difficult for me :-( My email is: bente.hedman@hotmail.com
There is no such option to choose in the C-panel as "Marketing services" and then additiional tools. So I don´t get the help I need from this. I still don´t know what to do with this message, coming from Mojo Marketplace, when linking to my subdomain: info.matriarchalstudies.com and how do I get rid of it. I have changed everything now and my site is finished. What is a ”banner of administration”?
modernmatriarchalstudies.com — Coming Soon
If you are the site owner and are finished building the site you can click the link in the banner of the administration panel to disable it.
INFO.MODERNMATRIARCHALSTUDIES.COM
And why isn´t the permalink to the homepage om my maindomain modernmatriarchalstudies.com funktion any more either?
I have set my homepage (www.modernmatriarchalstudies.com) as ”a static page”. But when I post the permalink to that page in a comment on Facebook, it isn´t the headline and image from THAT page that is exposed in the comment but from quite another page that has been called ”Mythology” - although the link really takes you to the homepage ser as ”static page” as it should,
To try to get rid of the problem I therefore cancelled this ”Mythology”-page as ”trash”.
But still it is the headline and image of this page that is exposed in the comment.
I have now looked at several videos on youtube about how to change pernalinks and followed the instructions how to do that by t ”settings” and ”permalinks” but the problem still remain.
My question now is; can I reset the permalink to funktion and / or take this old page ”Mythologi” -page away from my php-admin in the cPanel.
I think that the problem aroused when I installed a subdomain: (info.modernmatriarchalstudies.com). Because I cannot link to the homepage on that either without problems. Then I get this message:
I have already made the default settings in ”setting / permalink" that you have shown, but the problem remains
